Project Overview
Ascent Education is a tutoring and educational services business that I co-founded with my partner Andrew, who is well-known in the education sector. We set out to create a learning experience that is not only modern and high quality, but also convenient, valuable, and accessible for students and their families.
I developed a strong and consistent brand identity, alongside a high-performing website that acts as both a marketing platform and the operational core of the business. To streamline our processes, I designed and built a fully custom CRM, integrating bookings, payments, contracts, invoicing, and sales pipelines. This system connects directly to website forms, the content management system, and client records, ensuring a seamless flow of information and reducing manual work.
Alongside the technical setup, I oversaw all brand design and marketing efforts. This included producing social media content in Figma and Photoshop, creating and editing videos in CapCut, running Instagram campaigns, designing printed promotional materials, and maintaining a detailed content calendar. I also coordinated events, led staff, and ensured our brand voice and visual style were consistently applied across every channel and customer touchpoint.
Final Outcome
Ascent Education has grown into a trusted Sydney-based tutoring service with a strong reputation and a consistent client base. The branding and marketing foundation I created gave the business a professional image that parents trust, while the fully custom CRM has streamlined daily operations, eliminating manual admin work and making scaling seamless. The website continues to drive new enquiries, while automated bookings, payments, and invoicing free up time for tutors to focus on teaching.
Beyond the systems, this project gave me first-hand experience in building a business from the ground up. I learned how to lead a team, manage marketing campaigns, and create a polished, consistent brand image across every touchpoint. Ascent Education has a five-star Google rating and continues to grow steadily, a testament to both our quality of service and the infrastructure I built to support it.
