Project Overview
Glowing Pokeballs is a global collectibles brand that specialises in laser engraved crystal products. I founded it and scaled it to more than 50,000 units sold with conversion rates above industry benchmarks, achieved entirely through organic growth and absolutely ZERO ad spend.
The product line began with five designs and has expanded to more than 450 with full customisation options. I designed the originals with a glass manufacturer in China, coordinated 3D modelling, built the Shopify store, and owned the full customer experience including branding, photography, video, fulfilment and customer support.
I also built and grew @pokesphere into the largest and most engaged Pokémon fan page on Instagram with over 250,000 followers, then leveraged that audience to boost brand visibility. Brand channels @glowingpokeballs on Instagram with 25,000 followers and TikTok with 37,000 followers reinforce reach and trust. A single organic post reached 7.4 million views, 773k likes and 4k comments. I have also accumulated 27,500 email subscribers which has been a foundation for new product launches, retargeting and gaining repeat customers.


Final Outcome
Glowing Pokeballs has received over 20,000 verified reviews with a 4.8-star average and achieved all it's growth organically. I strengthened profitability through strategic pricing and product decisions, including bundle offers, upsells, and a small customisation option that increased profit margins by 34.7 percent per order.
This project didn't just give me Shopify developement experience, it gave me a deep understanding of e-commerce as a whole. I managed every part of the customer journey, from branding and product development to Shopify optimisation, logistics, support and marketing. That hands-on involvement taught me what makes a great shopping experience and how to grow a brand people trust. I’ve dealt with happy, unhappy, and even angry customers, which drove me to put systems in place that make the shopping experience smooth for buyers while keeping management simple for owners. The business has been featured by MustShareNews and promoted by influencers like @viince and aDrive, establishing it as a recognised name in the collectibles space.
